Our Story
On their second date, Shay's arrival at the monthly dinner party, "Tastebuds," was like adding the perfect spice to our story. Her zest for good food and lively conversations fit right in, and they started on their forever journey.
Our tale became a series of immersive experiences, food, cooking, friends, family, shared travels, weekly farmers market trips, and everything in between. From LA to Connecticut & Philadelphia, we painted the map with memories and laughter. But it was the trips to places like Arizona, Paso Robles, India, France, Portugal with Tasting Menus in tow, that truly colored our love story. And let's not forget our playful games and fierce but loving competition. Let's just say, neither of us likes to lose!
We can’t leave out Sadie, Shay's adorable dog. I mean, Ben might have fallen in love with Sadie just a tad more than Shay – but shh, don’t let the secret out.
Shay and Ben became roommates in July of 2022 shortly before they celebrated a year together under the same roof, Ben proposed to Shay after a Scavenger Hunt through the Hollywood Farmers Market. It ended with Ben popping the question in front of a special booth called “Forever Produce”. Shay said yes and now we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate with all of you!
Cheers to love, laughter, and a future filled with endless adventures and all of you joining as at our wedding! And of course, to Sadie – the real star of our story!
